Can't download hotmail on iphone 13

As of this afternoon my iphone 13 will not load emails from my hotmail account. I get the message - Checking for mail - but nothing loads. I CAN access my hotmail emails through the Outlook express app on my phone as well as on my laptop. Everything was working just fine through mail up until the Outlook outage last night. I was able to receive my email this morning once the widespread outage was fixed, but as of a few hours ago I can no longer get my emails through mail on my phone.

Report the issue to Microsoft support or look at their help site.
