MacBook Pro 2022 Logic Board Failure

Hi All,

Keyboard of my MacBook Pro (2022) model stopped working and the warranty is expired. Upon investigating, Apple service centre guy confirmed that it is due to the failure of the logic board and Mother board has to be replaced. It is quoted INR 61,000/- + taxes. Do you guys think is it really worth replacing mother board for that price (which is more than the price of the MacBook Pro when I purchased)?

Please suggest me if there any other options.

Thank you in advance.

In the US, Consumer Reports magazine reviews lots of household appliances like washing machines, dryers and refrigerators. They are mostly talking about slow-to-change appliances with useful lifetimes of a decade or more, NOT quickly changing computer technology.

They suggest that if the 'cost to repair' exceeds HALF the cost of a new one, you should buy a new one.
