Messages filter defaulting to 'All Messages'

I use an iPhone 14 Pro and iOS 18.5 and my Messages app defaults to the 'All Messages' filter, allowing spam texts to be read without opening them. I'd like to keep my default filter as 'Known Senders'.

This has been a problem for a long time now, for me and many other people. This is a simple fix!
