The latest item in my file doesn't show as saved to iCloud on my Mac

I have a file that includes items from the past 17 years (each identified by its year of birth) The last item in my file is dated 2023, yet, it does not indicate that it has been saved to icloud (no little cloud w. arrow). I know it is up there, but why does it not show as being stored there?
