"Passwords is locked" prompt randomly popping up

The prompt to enter a password recently started popping up at random times on my MacBook Pro. Does anybody know why this is happening and how to fix the issue?

very hard to speculate.

In General—

the password.app is always locked...before you can access it manually.

verify your settings for autofill...
