"Passwords is locked" prompt randomly popping up
The prompt to enter a password recently started popping up at random times on my MacBook Pro. Does anybody know why this is happening and how to fix the issue?

You do not say where are what you are doing. Look at setting for that website if it is website or app specific...
very hard to speculate.

This is normally what happens when you try to used a saved password for a website, or to view it.
What exactly are you doing when this message occurs?
I'm sorry, I should've been more clear. It pops up completely randomly, without prompt. I can be on an app that doesn't require a password and it will pop up.

I've had the same issue just the last couple of days. Did you find a solution? Thanks.
