How to set Google Calendar app as input source for 'Your Schedule' complication on Apple Watch?

I use the "Modular" watch face with the "Your Schedule" complication as the input source for "Calendar". My company uses the G-suite so I used to have my work schedule synced to my watch by adding my work Google Calendar into Apple "Calendars" on my phone. My company changed security policies and IMAP servers are no longer allowed, so had to delete my work calendar from the iPhone "Calendars" app. I added the "Google Calendar" app to my phone and have access to my work calendar there, but work related calendar events no longer showed up on my watch. Google recently released a "Google Calendar" Apple Watch app that I have downloaded and have on my watch. What I can't figure out is how to make the Google Calendar app on my watch the input source for the "Your Schedule" complication so that my next calendar event shows up in the Modular watch face the way it used to. Ideas?
