Will I lose my playlists if my Apple Music subscription lapses?

I had Apple Music provided as part of my mobile phone contract with EE. I cancelled this contract last week and have just realised that my Music subscription needs to be restarted and paid directly.

I have many personal playlists setup. If I renew, will these still remain, or will they be deleted? I have seen old posts circa 2020 which suggest they are deleted. Is this still the case in 2025? Thanks
