Unable to open iTunes-purchased songs in Wavepad on new Mac

Hi guys. So I got a new mac desktop as my old one died. I run a dance school and I use wavepad to cut my music. I have thousands of songs that I have bought in itunes that I cant open now in wavepad for some reason on my new computer. Can anyone help me please?
