Apple Arcade / Kids / Multiplayer

I found articles from 2, 3, 4 years ago describing this same problem, and the specialist gave instructions to turn on certain settings; but the complaining users pointed out this doesnt work. The only way to resolve it is to remove all management of the child's account/restrictions.

It's July 2025 and this problem still exists, I have read lots of threads with no clear answer. Please resolve this, tell me what im doing wrong, or at least provide an explanation?

I have seen there was trouble with not be able to restrict users on Multiplayer when using Game Center 4 years ago, but nothing running iOS 18.

Is that the same OS version that is running on your child's device?
Do you have the setting at Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Multiplayer Games set to Don't Allow. I assume so, but it is not clear from your post if that is the setting that is not working for you.
