Question

ICloud not syncing files quickly

iCloud is not syncing in a reasonable amount of time since Sequoia. Files from one Mac to the other on the same table are taking forever... Is there any way to fix this as I see many complaints online with no solutions offered from Apple.

I usually kick iCloud Drive sync to start updating its contents by opening and the closing some file or doing some other dummy update because otherwise it might take as long as 20 minutes to start by itself.

If after that the actual sync is slow, that depends at least on the network speed.
