My MacBook Air wallpaper and screensaver keep updating to the same thing

whenever I change my screensaver or wallpaper, the other will change with it. I cannot seem to figure out how to change one and leave the other what I previously selected. I want my screensaver to be a .mov file and my background be one of my family -- PLEASE HELP ME.
