Apple Maps navigation issues in Sydney tunnels

i have trouble with navigation through Sydney tunnels. Seems apple maps does not support bluetooth beacon system in tunnels . Does anyone know if it plans to or do i switch maps to google or waze which do? i use an kenwood dmx7522s head unit. and iPhone XS
