Recovering missing contacts from iCloud beyond June

I have been losing my contacts for several months now and the furthest that iCloud will let me recover is this past June. How do I recover my missing contacts?

Your original post stated you lost contacts. Your second post stated you lost a specific telephone number, which is but a portion of a contact’s information. Which is it?
You said “I have more than enough storage…”.
- Are you referring to iCloud storage?
- Are your contacts actually housed in iCloud?
- Are they exclusively in iCloud and not in any other account?

You cannot recover data beyond the recoverable data shown to you.

Assuming you house your contacts in iCloud, be certain you have adequate iCloud storage going forward so this issue does not recur.

I have more than enough storage, so, that can’t be the reason. I went to call my doctor today and his number, which I have had in my contacts for years, has totally disappeared from my list.
