I would, I think, make sure that all my pictures were available in iCloud or another backup before resetting the phone. Sometimes pictures are transferred to a phone, perhaps from a computer or some other device, in a way that doesn't give Photos full access to them, and they can't be preserved in iCloud. Still, we can't know the details, so we can't be much help. The link

gives pretty much all the possibilities. If you don't keep your own backups to an external drive, then there really isn't any place else to look.
hi thank you for the reply, my phone recently need to be format cause too full , so the photos in my phone are gone, but in icloud it was supposed to be okey cause only my recent photos are not backed up not the old ones. but then i checked my photos in icloud, only at the year 2023 is missing, the other years are there.
