is there a way to show parallels and meridians in Apple Maps

When I switch between the various maps categories (Transit, Satellite, Explore, Drive) while using a very large scale (such as showing both Europe and North America) the globe briefly shows parallels and meridians but they immediately disappear. Is there a way to keep them on the display so as to use them for reference? Thanks,

There is nothing in Map Settings that will present permanent latitude and longitude lines. They only appear briefly when switching between Map mode selections. The Equator, Tropic of Cancer, and Tropic of Capricorn latitude lines are shown in Explore or Satellite view, though the Tropic of Capricorn line is unlabeled until one is in the mid-Pacific.
