Nightmare of Cover Art work in RIP music files via Apple Music on an iPhone!
I have been adding some of my older CDs to Apple Music to transfer to my iPhone 14. Sometimes the cover artwork appears on the album on the iPhone and sometimes it is blank. I RIP the CDs to an 'apple' format M4a. I make sure I have the artwork in JPEG format. (I used 900 x 900 pixels). Then I add the music via its album folder to Apple Music app on my Windows 11 PC. I have often embedded the cover art work using other apps. Now I check in Apple Music using properties and edit. I even started to delete any embedded art work. Then using Apple Music add the cover art work. This seems to work and yet from time to time on the first go add synchronising to the iPhone using Apple Devices no cover artwork appears in Apple Music player on the iPhone. If I do all this again it appears to solve it. What is going on with Apple Music and Artwork. I have noticed others have had this problem. I used to use iTunes to RIP the music but since iTunes now is not really assoicated with Apple Music and music files. - I use a third party Ripper.
