Unable to access outlook.com or one drive from Safari

M1 MBA running 15.5: I've been unable to use Safari to access my M365 account, including outlook, onedrive, one note, etc.. When I click the signing button and refreshes back to the same page.

I've cleared cache and cleared all cookies. Made sure everything is updated. I have passkeys setup for my MSFT account as well as password.

The problem is so pervasive that I had to switch to an alternate default Chromium browser and abandon Safari.

Is anyone else seeing this same problem?

Ok, got it working.

  1. Cleared History
  2. Cleared Manage Website Data
  3. Restarted Safari (twice)
  4. Disabled Hide My IP Address (both in Preferences and in Safari)
  5. Started Outlook desktop app (sometimes the desktop app will refresh the MSAL token that is strangely shared between desktop apps and browsers

Not sure what in particular did the trick, but I'm guessing it was a stuck MSAL/MDAL refresh token.
