Wireless photo transfer from iPhone SE

In the Spring of 2022, I purchased a third-generation iPhone SE with A15 processor. While I'm very happy with my iPhone, the Lightning port failed. (I did not know the SE could be charged wirelessly).

I will have to get my SE serviced. I want to unload all the Photos library off of the SE, but I do not have a Lightning port. Is there a way to wirelessly transfer all the photos to a computer for backup? If so, how?

Many thanks in advance.

MY HARDWARE:

iPhone SE (3; / 2022) Model MMX83LL/A

MY SOFTWARE:

iOS 18.5 (22F76)

Maybe.

What kind of computer?

For a Mac you can Airdrop them.

For a PC, you may be able to export them over the network if you enable file sharing on the PC and can access the computer through the Files App or Microsoft's PhoneLink.

It depends on how many image files you need to download. Phil0124's recommendation of AirDrop is an excellent suggestion and works very well.

I don't know how it will work with a large library all at once. I just tested 60 photos from my iPhone 12 mini to my Mac Mini M4 and it went thru very quickly. The photos go into the Downloads folder on the Mac.

You certainly can try AirDrop in increasing numbers till it chokes then back off a bit.

No. Download google photos and back it up there.

Depends

If you have another Apple device (Ej. iPad, another iPhone, iMac), you could load your apple account there, which will make it synchronise all the info that has been uploaded to iCloud onto the phone.

If you don’t know how, just search “how to log your apple id on a device” and Google AI overview will tell you

if you don’t, you’ll probably have to use Google Photos or smth like that
