How do I remove Screen Time limit on my MacBook Air?
Today I bought a brand new macbook and I started to set it up . I did all the usual steps with pairing and updating and I thought all was fine . However when I went to start using the device i noticed that there was a time limit set . This is odd since i don’t have a time limit set on my phone, and last one i had was put in place by my mother several years ago and was controlled from her android . Now my laptop locked because of the screen time and it’s the exact same terms as the one that used to be present on my device . So i’m assuming it’s the old screen time that somehow got transferred onto this new device when i paired the macbook to my phone using my apple account .
I don’t know how it got put in place and i can’t remove it since my mother doesn’t remember the password and doesn’t know how to remove it form her end . ( Her apple account has no info on having any type of time limits set )
The weirdest part is that my sister got the exact same laptop and set it up with me and nothing happened to hers . ( it’s important to note that i updated my laptop to the new sequio whilst she didn’t )
How can I get rid of the time limit ? “
