Messages on iPhone 15 and MacBook Air are not syncing

I took both devices to the Genius Bar on Sunday and was told that the issue was resolved, but apparently not. I assume that the Genius enabled all the necessary items. I do not think it was Genius error, but rather Apple technology error.

Some of the messages are syncing but not all of them. The messages that I receive on the phone but not on the MacBook seem to be exclusively from campaigns asking for money...but maybe that is a coincidence.

This works but only temporarily.

I just did the above and everything was synced and the next 2 texts I received went to both the phone and the laptop, but I do not think it will be permanent. Thanks.
