Determining AppleCare status for canceled iMac order
Back in September of 2024 I went online and ordered an iMac and AppleCare for that iMac to be delivered to my local Apple Store. When they took it out of the box to begin setting it up I noticed that it only had two ports which aren't enough, so rather than take delivery I had them cancel the order, forgetting that there was AppleCare attached to it.
I thought nothing more about it until June 24th of this year when I got an email from Apple asking me to "Complete your AppleCare+ setup" for $59.99. I then contacted Apple asking for a cancelation of coverage and a full refund. The person I spoke to told me that the best she could do would be to prorate a rebate of $14.00. I'm semi-okay with that but how can I determine if the coverage is still in effect?
