I am using Sequoia, 15.5, on an Imac M1 - Have been through settings, don't see how to fix this.

Original Title: On mail, I can drag my mailboxes to the left to widen the area, but my mailbox descriptions still stay largely off the screen, to the left. How do I fix this?

Perhaps you could try & reset the Finder; or maybe the Dock?
Short of the do-all 'full restart' ~ not a real choice, midstream.
With older macOS & hardware, I've found TinkerTool works..
..While the newer macOS likely has 'features built-in' to do this.
Sorry to have few other ideas; I'm midway between projects
both indoor and outdoor; both require differing apparel, etc.
While weekends are just other days; same chores anyway!
Maybe someone will see your thread, now its moved up?
