Downloading apps and data from backup to new iPhone 16

When I bought the iPhone 16 at an Apple Store, they backed up my old iPhone 13 to iCloud. Now I'm trying to download everything into my new iPhone, but it's taking forever! Last night I plugged it in and put it on wifi, but this morning it hadn't done anything. Then I tried the old trick of turning it off and then on again, and it started downloading, but most of my apps were saying "Waiting..." Now, 5 hours later, a few more have downloaded, but most of them are still saying "Waiting..." Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Well, after a few more hours, almost all of my apps were still "Waiting..." But I accidentally found the solution! If I just tapped an app that was waiting, it immediately started loading and installing, very fast. Then I tried tapping on all the apps on a page at the same time, and they loaded almost simultaneously. It still took a little while, because I had quite a few apps in folders, so I had to go into each folder and tap, but wow! After waiting about 24 hours from the time I took the phone home, it's all set up!
