Siri no longer asks me if I want to reply to text message in CarPlay

I’m using the latest iPhone update, but Siri no longer asks me if I want to reply to a text message using Apple CarPlay. Siri reads the text message only. I then have to ask Siri to read the last text again, and only then will Siri ask me if I would like to reply.

You may have to toggle it back on under settings.

1. Enable Announce Notifications:

    • Go to Settings on your iPhone.
    • Select Notifications.
    • Tap on Messages.
    • Ensure Announce Notifications is toggled on.
    • Under CarPlay, make sure Announce New Messages is also turned on.

2. Enable Show in CarPlay:

    • In the same Messages settings, find Show in CarPlay and make sure it's toggled on.

3. Siri Settings:

    • Go to Settings on your iPhone, Select Siri & Search, Tap on Announce Notifications, Make sure CarPlay is enabled, and You can also adjust settings for Automatically Send Messages here.

4. Check Driving Focus:

    • If you have a Driving Focus mode enabled, make sure it's not overriding your message settings or preventing replies.

If the issue persists, consider re-pairing your phone with CarPlay or toggling the "Show in CarPlay" setting off and back on
