I was trying to stop my child to change his new MacBook Air time to avoid the screen time I set for him. I follow the steps from the answers previous users provided, but I just can’t find the “Location Service” after I entered Content & Privacy from both my device and child’s device. I have tried to turned off Screen Time to redo everything again but still no luck. Is there any one can help?
On a MacBook, Location Services isn’t managed through Screen Time itself, it lives in a different part of System Settings.
Even though Screen Time lets you control a lot of what your child can access or change, the actual toggle for Location Services is under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
To prevent your child from changing the time to bypass Screen Time, make sure “Set date and time automatically” is enabled under General > Date & Time, and then use the Screen Time restrictions to lock changes to system settings. That way, even if they try to change the clock, they’ll have to provide a password to do so.
