Video playback freezes on MacBook Pro Mid 2015 - all players affected

I'm experiencing video playback issues on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015).

System: macOS [your version], Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Issue: All video players freeze immediately when starting playback of any video format. This affects VLC, MKVPlayer, Elmedia Video Player, and Elmedia Player.

Important: The same video files play normally when transferred to other Mac computers, indicating the issue is specific to my machine, not the files.

Looking for suggestions on what might cause system-wide video playback failure when the files themselves are fine.
