Unresponsive left click acting as right click on MacBook 2017

Hi there I’ve been using the Mac book 2017.

My left click is unresponsive and keeps acting as a right click. (for some reason it is fine when clicking things in the settings menu but not for any other apps such as google chrome etc). I’ve tried using an external mouse but the issue still persists. It seems to be fine when I’m on safety mode so I feel that it is a software issue.

I have tried to restart, etc but all doesn’t seem to work besides when using safety mode.

how do I fix this issue? Is there anything else I can try to do?

Probably some type of Third Party Software that has been installed on the computer

Since this issue does Not Occurring in Safety Mode - whatever software that is causing this issue in Not Loading in Safe Mode

Respectfully, suggest

To skip the Q&A session, just download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

It’s a diagnostic tool that doesn’t change your computer at all. It gives you a clear and easy-to-read list of both your hardware and software

You can get it for free or pay for extra features. And don’t worry, the report won’t reveal any personal information.

Once you’re done, just copy and paste the full report using the Additional Text Icon.

Lastly - should you decide to use and post the Report now or at a later time, we are willing to have a very close look and offer some insights
