Sight down the front and side edges of the MacBook Pro, looking along all of the edges of the Mac for indications of any bowing or arcs or bending or swelling.

Old issue, new issue, what changed?
if you are using tap to click— before you sign in, registering your user settings— then you have to press to enter(?)
use the return key to enter your login(?)
