How do I hide 'Library' folder on my MacBook Pro?

I don't remember how this folder happened to be in my Documents folder, but I want to get rid of it. I can delete it, but it asks permission, so I'm afraid I can delete some important folder.

I feel like it's not Mac Library folder, because it doesn't have a specific icon. I can't open it, and honestly don't know what to do with it.

Any resolve here...?

I do see now— Home folder is an option in the iCloud ( I don't do iCloudDrive to say more.)

Try turning that off and see if that clears up all the extras including the Library that shows no access.

to hide the ~/Library folder from Finder go to your Home Folder in the sidebar, Command J opens the View options:

uncheck the box
