Hi,
I have within users and groups the administrator account (that is me) and a guest account. Is it always the you also have a guest account? I can not delete the guest account.
The guest account switch is set to off

Correct. The Guest account cannot be removed.
Turning off the "Allow Guests to log in to this computer" option in System Settings ➜ Users & Groups ➜ Guest (i). Will disable the account and remove it from the Lock Screen though.
