Lost all my library music on iphone during download

My acer pc hard drive died recently but I figured I could simply download my Apple Music folders and files from my iPhone to my pc. I used my “apple devices” app with the Apple Music app on both. However, not only did nothing download except my purchased music, but my entire library of audio files is nowhere to be found. Is it gone forever? Not sure what I did wrong, but I found the download process very confusing and difficult.

Non-apple music purchased music disappeared from iphone I have a fairly large collection of non-apple music mp3 collected from various sources (bandcamp downloads, cd rips, old hard drives) that I had on my iPhone 11. I recently updated my iphone and cannot see these mp3s in apple music. When I plug my IPhone into my laptop it lists all these mp3s as still being on the device. I tried to manually put the songs back on the IPhone but was only partially successful, a fair amount of them wouldn't take no matter how many times I tried. WTF?

Files to music I recently received a link to download music I bought from an artist and it went into my files on my phone. Is there a way to transfer my music files into Apple Music? I don’t want to have to keep opening and closing my phone to listen to each individual song
