Unable to update "Sherlock Hidden Objects" by G5 Games on my MacBook Air and iPhone 16 Plus with error

I have a 2025 16" MacBook Air. I love playing "Sherlock Hidden Objects" by G5 Games and play it daily. When I try to update it, which it really needs, I get the error message that I don't have room. An Apple tech confirmed I do have plenty of room. Can anyone help me? I've been back and forth with games support with no improvements and their FAQs all refer to Windows, though they show the game is good for Macs and iPhones. Similar problem with my iPhone 16+.

There are a number of very similarly named apps in the (iOS) App Store. Some are quite obsolete, having not been updated for years.

This is the G5 Games version from the (U.S. iOS) App Store.

Thank you very much, sberman! Unfortunately, that's even an older version than the one I've managed to update to. In fact, when I attempt to ypdate from the Mac App, I can't get farther than an error message telling me I don't have enough room on my 3 month old Mac. The tech from Apple determined the problem is with the game developers.
