Original Title: I have a new Iphone (16 pro max) and when I try to back it up through the cloud I cant see any backups.

iCloud backups are available for 180 days after you disable or stop using iCloud Backup. Backups that are currently being used to restore a device can't be deleted.
In any case, using an iCloud Backup requires erasing our phone and replacing the contents with the backup. Is that what you're after? Or are you asking about iCloud Photos rather than backup?
