Problems with editing time signature changes in Logic Pro X.

I do pieces with lots of time signature changes (e.g. 5/8 to 7/8 to 3/4 etc), so I sometimes have 50 or so in my time signature list for a single piece. I know how to put them in, but I run into problems if I want to edit them afterwards. Whenever I change a time signature early in the piece, that causes some later time signatures to be lost. An example is given in the screenshots: 'timesignatures 1' shows a 7/8 bar that I would like to change to a 9/8 bar; 'timesignatures 2' shows that after doing so, two of the later timesignature changes have disappeared. I also attach an example of what happens when I try to move a group of key signature changes to later in the piece: 'timesignatures 3' shows that I have selected a group of 16 time signature changes to move; 'timesignatures 4' shows the result: the group (or at least the first in the group) has moved by 22 bars, but 8 out of the 16 time signature changes have been deleted.

Just to state the obvious, none of this affects playback, but it makes transcription into written notation a real headache. In effect, if I change my mind about any of my time signatures, I have to resign myself to deleting all the subsequent ones and inputting them again.

I'm using Logic 10.5.1 on mac OS 12.7.6

Sorry about the images appearing joined together. I'll try again.

Here's a time signature I want to change from 7/8 to 9/8:

Here's the result:

Now here is a block I want to shift to a point later in the timeline:

and here is the result:

I haven't tried 'Cut/insert time'. Since the page makes it possible to change time signatures and move them around, the question is really, shouldn't that work?

Since my first message I've found a workaround for shifting a whole passage of time signature changes: it appears to behave badly when I shift it by a number of bars, but does the job fine when I shift by a number of eighth notes.
