Sharing e-mails with iPhone 14 Plus and MacBook Pro M4

My iPhone 14 Plus was accidentally set up with two e-mail accounts. One is"inbox" with a my e-mails but no folders with data, the other is "Comcast" with all my e-mails and all my folders. On the MacBook Pro I have the same "inbox" but it has all my e-mails and all my folders. The "Comcast" has only a few of my e-mails and all of my folders. The e-mail app on the MacBook Pro does not show how many e-mails I have that are unread but dings when a new one comes in. Is there a way to fix this without totally making a mess, more that I already. have.

I am a senior and this is my first MacBook Pro M4 and I totally love it but want to use it correctly. I hope someone in the community can help me sort this out. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.5
