Whenever you open a link from somewhere there was always a pop up to be able to choose which browser you can open the link with but I accidentally disabled it and now whenever I open a link it takes me directly to safari browser immediately. How do I get that pop up back?

"From somewhere" is relevant, but generally speaking you can long-press the link. Tap and hold and choose the app or service you wish to use to open that link. Otherwise use the Share icon, choose from among the apps offered, or tap the More icon and choose among the options offered.
It doesn’t work for me. It used to as soon as I clicked the link, a pop up would show up and let me choose the browser. Now it goes straight to safari. When I press and hold the link, the only options are to open, open in new tab, open in new group, etc… no option to select the browser to use.
What happens if you long press then tap the Share icon? A variety of options should appear, such as Open in Firefox, Open in Brave, etc. I don't use Chrome but I imagine if you do it should be one of the choices offered.
Where are you finding these links please? In an app? Which one? An email message? Or...?
Just any link, sometimes it’s links on a website, sometimes there are links on YouTube. It just goes straight to safari without the option to choose to go to Chrome for example.
