Unable to pre-save upcoming music on Apple Music app despite having subscription

So when I'm on Instagram and I'm looking at one of my favorite musicians page and they post about new upcoming music and they give you the option to pre-save or pre- add, I don't get to do that because when I click on the link, I'm so accustomed to using the app and not having to sign in, I don't be remembering my password and then when I reset it I'll be thinking I'll save it in the on my phone but then I can't find it and then I forget what not I use my email or if I use my phone number. When I try either option I ended up getting locked out of my account and that sucks because I'm paying monthly for Apple music subscription.

Original Title: What is the purpose of having a paid subscription and using the app, if I can't easily log in to Pre-Add new upcoming music of a favorite artist?
