How can I retrieve a missing note from the Notes app?

I am missing a very important note from my notes app - it's one that I reference often. It has disappeared. I know that I've used it within the past 30 days so it should be in "recently deleted" folder. But it's not. Is it possible to retrieve this note somehow?
