How to disable auto rotation when rotating my iPhone?

You can't take a picture upside down. If you want to display a photo upside down after taking it, edit it after you take the photo, by tapping the slider controls on the bottom of the picture, then Crop, then use the rotate square with a backward facing arrow at the top left.

Locking orientation won't do what you hope it would here.

To freeze rotation on your iPhone, from the top right hand corner of your screen swipe down to open Control Center. Look for the icon with a lock in it and tap it to freeze orientation in either Portrait or Landscape.

If you are asking about Orientation Lock, that is found in Control Center. Tap on it to turn it on. That will lock the screen from turning.

OK. To be honest, I don't really know what you mean when you say "lens or objective or framing go together in rotation." And you want them to stay upside down? This just doesn't make much sense to me.

Like lobsterghost1, this response confuses me. Can you provide a screenshot of what you are wanting to look at, or at least what you are seeing. Maybe describe what app you are in if not the camera and hopefully we can figure it out.

If you are wanting to keep your phone upside down all the time there are no guarantees this will happen by enabling the lock rotation feature, some apps or settings are not optimized for this setting.
