Unable to change default calendar in Google Calendar app on macOS Mojave

I have multiple gmail accounts. Google changed the calendar appearance today and chose the wrong address as the default calendar. I am working on a mac OS Mojave version 10.14.6 and trying to use the Google calendar app rather than the mac calendar. I followed the ai instructions except that after open Google calendar, go to general settings, there is no default calendar choice. Thanks for advice.
