How do I retrieve recent call history log on my iPhone 15?

There are 2 things you should to:

1. Reset your network setting by going to: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will also delete any previous stored WiFi passwords so you will need to enter it again when signing into your Wifi for the first time.
2. Force Restart the device. This may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct.

• Press and release quickly the Volume Up button.
• Press and release quickly the Volume Down button.
• Press and HOLD the side button until the Apple logo appears. This may take up to 15 seconds before you see the Apple Logo and you will need to ignore anything else you see on the screen during that time.

• It could be, did you try shutting off Phone syncing at Settings > [name on top] > iCloud > Show All > Phone to test if it makes a difference?
• Are you sharing your Apple Account with anyone else where deleting from one device can remove them from the other?

I suspect you are now going to have to wipe your device and you will not be able to use any previous backup that was altered. The only backup that would matter is one that was created while using iOS 18.5 and that does not appear to be the case.
