Stuck in password loop while creating a child account with Family Sharing on iPhone

When I am trying to add child account through ‘Family’ link, it is not responding at the password asking stage of apple account. Asking password again and again.

can't add family members. option doesn't even show up Want to create a new Apple ID for my kid and add him to my family. The option of adding new members to the family under Settings>Family or Family Sharing doesn't even show up. Any ideas? I am using IOS 16.1.1

Add family member option not showing I am trying to add my daughter to family sharing, already created an appld id for her. However on my phone, when I traverse to Settings>Family, there is no button or option at all to add a mew member. I upgrades ios latest to 17.0.3 as well. Its driving me nuts. Does anyone know where this covert clandistine “Add member” button is.

Family sharing invitation stuck I tried to add a new family member. She uses an Android device and has a working Apple ID. The invitation email is received, she click on the invitation link and select the Apple Music app, then accept the terms, then click on Accept (the Accept button turns grey) and signs in with her Apple ID, then fills the authentication code received on a text message, and the nothing happens…. The screen gets stuck in that point forever… no errors, no messages, nothing… and in Apple Family control in my iPhone I still see her status as Invitation Sent.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties.

Apple’s processes for creating a Child’s Account is VERY specific.

It must be performed from an adult “Family Organizer’s” device as described here.
