How do I prevent simultaneous chord edits in two 'Smart Strings' sections on GarageBand for iPad?

I’m making a tune in GarageBand on an iPad that will have two “Smart Strings” sections (A/B) giving me 16 background chords. But when I edit the chords in section A, the same edits appear in section B & when I change those then A gets them too. Am I then limited to eight chords?

How do I map session player guitar loops to follow chord progressions in Logic Pro when choosing a session player ( guitar ) loop and adding it into my project I find that although I can change the pitch of the loop to be in the main key of my tune I can't ( or don't know how to ) actually have the loop modulate to follow the chord progression of the tune . Is there some way I can map the loop to change pitch to follow. and be with the chords . hope I've explained myself here [Re-Titled by Moderator]
