iMusic scrolls without playing songs on Mac

When I open I music, I can pick any option to play music. It will scroll through songs, but not play them. This is on a Mac Desk Top. I can update the library and that usually helps for a song or two, then back to scrolling through songs but does not play them. Any ideas out there?

Apple Music on Macos not saving music in playlists after editing I have been experiencing an issue with Apple Music on MacOs whereby adding tracks to a playlist does not appear to save after the application is closed down. When the Music app is reopened the music tracks do not appear in any of the playlists I have just added them in. I have trawled Google for answers and there does not seem to be an immediate fix, in spite of the fact that other Mac users are experiencing the exact same issue. I am running MacOs Ventura on a 2021 14" M1 MacBook Pro with all the latest updates. Cannot select and play music on Sonoma 14.3 I recently upgraded to MacOS 14.3. When I launch Apple Music and select a song -- from either the songs view or a playlist -- and then press the Play button, it does not play the selected song. It either plays a different song or gives me a dialog asking me if I want to clear the song list. Seems like a bug to me but I wanted to know if there is a setting that I might have overlooked. Please advise.

Music won't play playlists or albums. I am running a MacBook Air with an M1 Chip and Ventura 12.2.1 I have moved my music library over to this computer, but Music will not play any of the playlists. I can play any individual song, but cannot play an album or a playlist. It just doesn't advance to the next song. In fact when I hit the play button on a playlist, NOTHING happens. What is going on here? How do I get lists and albums to play again?
