what is a trustworthy search engine to use these days?

I found out that Duck Duck Go leaves a few files behind if you uninstall its web browser. Google searches accumulates your likes and leaves privacy behind. So.. which of the few is a trustworthy search engine these days?

Just change your search engine in Safari to DuckDuck Go. There is no need to install anything else.
