Siri asks me to unlock my iPhone to start an Outdoor Walk on Apple Watch

Why, when I ask Siri to start an outdoor walk on my watch, do I get a response that says I have to unlock my iPhone ?

Siri on Apple Watch wants me to agree to latest Privacy Agreement for Podcasts, but I see no way to do so. I will often use Siri on my Apple Watch to start playing Podcasts on my phone. This has worked consistently since I got the watch, until a couple weeks ago. Now, every time I tell Siri on my watch to "Play Podcasts," it responds saying, "To listen to Apple Podcasts, you'll need to accept the latest privacy agreement." When I use Siri directly on my iPhone (or through my AirPods), I don't get this roadblock, and I have tried to find where I can accept this Privacy Agreement, but I'm pretty sure that I already have. Apple Watch Siri says "To do that you have to be online" Quite a few times in the past couple weeks, with my Apple Watch series 4, I've had Siri respond to a command with "To do that you have to be online." This is pretty bizarre, because I have a 1Gb fiber network throughout my house, my iPhone is online, and my watch functions normally with any online requirements on all the apps. What gives with this? Any ideas how I can avoid this problem in the future?

Apple Watch’s Siri can’t tell the weather forecast and says instead: “I can't tell your location because of your settings.” Asking my Apple Watch (watchOS 11) for the weather, e.g. by saying “How's the weather today?” I unfortunately always receive this error message: “I can't tell your location because of your settings. Where would you like to hear the weather for?” I’ve seen a similar thread here but it’s unfortunately locked already, so I decided to ask this question again but also provide the solution, that worked for me. On the iPhone (iOS 18), under Settings Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Siri I checked “While Using the App”. That solved the problem for me. Hope it helps others, too!

Is your Apple Watch locked? When I ask my Apple Watch to start a workout, which is always unlocked on my wrist, it always works and doesn't ask to unlock my iPhone. It may ask if you have the Watch locked.
