Unable to delete read only calendar invites on iPhone 12

I cannot delete calendar invites to calendar events from a friend off my apple calendar on my iPhone. They do not appear on my MacBook Air apple or google calendars. The invite is read only. It does not give me the option to delete.

How to delete an "invitee" from calendar list of "invitees" on iphone 13 I am using the iphone 13 calendar to manage my calendar events. When creating the event, you have an option to invite an "invitee" and when you go the next screen, previously selected invitees appear here as well as the ability to add new. There is no way to delete them from this list, why? (You cannot scroll left or right to see a delete button). There should be a way to delete them, I just can't seem to find how you can do this?

Can’t remove recurring invites from iPhone calendar A few years ago I received recurring meeting invites from an associate on Outlook which synced with my iPhone calendar. Quite a while back, the recurring invites were removed from Outlook but still show up on my iPhone. I can delete individual invites but when I try to decline and save for all invites, they disappear for a half second and then reappear. I tried turning off iCloud calendars and declining and saving for all events but no luck they’re still there so I don’t think it’s an iCloud issue. Anyone know how to delete this annoyance cluttering my calendar??

Is there a way to clear iOS calendar inbox? I just added my work calendar account and now have a bunch of items in the calendar inbox after it was done syncing, but they're events that have occurred in the past. It looks like the only options are to accept/tentatively accept/decline the invites, however, I don't want the meeting owners to receive replies for these meetings that have occurred in the past. Is there any other way to clear these?
