Why didn't I get the Global Running Award for a 3.6-mile run on my Apple Watch?

I ran 3.6 miles June 4th & tracked it as a workout on my Apple Watch. I did not receive the Global Running Award for tracking at least a 5k. Is there anything I can do to get it??

5K Run Award Does the Watch somehow award the 5K Run Award only for registered 5K races? I recently ran a Thanksgiving Day 5K and got the 5K Run Award on my Fitness App. Made sense since my watch clocked 3.13 miles. But I have logged many runs of between 3.1 and 3.3 miles in the weeks/months leading up to the race, as well a few since, but have only gotten the award that one time. Does it cross reference some database of known events or something?

Apple Fitness / Watch awards not being given when requirements met. I ran a 5km run which is my fastest to date based on the time recorded. I was awarded the 5km Run Achievement award straight after but it has not awarded me / updated the fastest 5km run award. Anyone know why this is and/or how I can update it? Thanks

Apple Watch not counting towards award My November Apple Watch Award goal was to complete 2.5 miles 14 times (not 2.5 mile walks/exercises). I did so 16 times and the watch only counted 12 towards the award. I completed both within a complete indoor walk, multiple indoor and outdoor walks, and organically throughout the day.
