HomePod 2 won't connect after I use my Airpods for a phone call.

When I start my day, I can connect to my HomePod 2 after waking my Mac Studio from sleep. Then, when I use my AirPods 2 to make a Bluetooth phone call on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can no longer connect to my HomePod. It just spins and spins, and when I go into the Home app, it says the HomePod 2 is paused, even though music is being played through the tiny Mac Studio speakers or I can connect to my AirPod 2 easily. I have Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and if I disable to the Bluetooth, I can no longer reconnect it to the mouse to turn the Bluetooth back on. It is a very frustrating conundrum and is making the HomePod almost worthless. When I had a Bluetooth speaker, I could easily pause and switch between to multiple devices. This behavior makes me want to return the dang thing!

I think I may have discovered the issue. I stream music from YouTube through my Mac via AirPlay to my HomePod 2 while working. I noticed that if I go into the YouTube app and check the AirStream to my HomePod 2, it connects, then I can go into my Mac settings to connect it to my HomePod 2 again. It's like a glitch between the app and iOS. I would listen through Apple Music, but my library keeps getting corrupted and is EXTREMELY frustrating!
