• To what?
• Isn’t it already on your iPhone?
You mention a PC later. Have you tried this? • Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or PC - Apple Support
• You posted in the iCloud area. Why? What relevance does iCloud have here? Is iCloud Photos involved? If so, on what device(s)?

Actually, they posted in the iPhone forum. Someone relocated the post here.

You can add as much memory in iCloud as you want, but it won't do anything to add space to your iPhone. I'm going to guess the photo didn't save because you are out of space on your phone itself? Open Settings > General > iPhone Storage and see how much space you have out of how much total space. If, as I suspect you are out of memory on your iPhone, you need to delete things you don't need or use. That can include; Photos, Apps, Music, Files, Email, Messages, etc. Once purchased, all the space you have on the phone was the amount of space it came with out of the box.

The bottom line is if the photo didn't have anywhere to go on your iPhone, it doesn't exist.

No, So i had this feature low data mode on. I wanted to see this photo and because it was in hd quality it wont load, so i thought since i dont have much space i should get more space in icloud and i did and obv the photos started to transfer and that particular photo simply disappeared along with the folder that had only this one image

Thanks. Unfortunately the original poster’s second response didn’t really answer my questions. Hopefully your original response was more beneficial.

I have no clue. What I surmised was they are out of space on their iPhone, they bought iCloud Storage believing it would add space to their phone and had this photo which they couldn't download to their phone and it didn't, because they didn't have enough space. They lost the photo as a result. As we both know, you can't retrieve what wasn't saved to begin with.
